As a Liability Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for assessing claims by investigating losses and negotiating settlements accordingly, while maintaining adequate production levels and client relationships. This is a hybrid role, combining field and home-based work, requiring regular travel to claims sites within the region.
Our client is an independent Canadian claims adjusting firm, in business for over 80 years, located in the Greater Montreal area.
What we offer:
• Permanent employment.
• A base salary of $71,000 to $107,000 per year, negotiable based on experience.
• Additional commissions based on billable hours.
• An annual bonus of up to $10,000 based on performance.

• Flexible 40-hour work week. Monday to Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.

• RPBD Monday pension plan with employer contribution starting at 5% of your base salary or more.

What you bring:
• Ensuring policy compliance and settling claims while adhering to regulations and monitoring costs
• Receiving and analyzing claims information
• Accurately maintaining billing, time, and expense records
• Working collaboratively with the manager to ensure excellent customer service
• Traveling to claims sites as needed
Who are you?
• Hold your AMF (French Insurance Federation) Personal and Commercial Claims Adjuster certification
• Have at least 8 years of experience as a claims adjuster specializing in liability
• Bilingualism (French-English)
• Valid driver's license
