To support their growth, our client is seeking a Business Insurance Account Manager to work closely with the Broker/Producer on specialized online files (E&O, D&O, Cyber, Tech). Our client is an independent brokerage firm specializing in property and casualty insurance, serving both individuals and businesses. Experiencing rapid growth, they need insurance professionals like you to join a dynamic team in their downtown Montreal office.
What we offer:

A starting base salary of $60,000/year and above, negotiable based on experience.

A sales support role working as part of a team with a Producer.

Full-time hours of 35 hours per week.
Flexible schedule based on the firm's business hours, Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Paid indoor parking or accessible by public transit.
Benefits paid at 40% to 60% by the employer, depending on your needs and budget (life insurance, prescription drugs, salary, disability, dental), after 3 months or from day 1, depending on your experience.

What you bring:
Working with the lead broker on their team, the Account Manager will process, analyze, and follow up on client requests;
Analyze risks and offer the best product at the best quality and price possible, based on the client's needs;
Use their strong negotiation skills to secure the best possible terms from insurers;
Monitor renewals according to deadlines;
Support clients during claims and ensure rigorous follow-up;
Play a key role in preparing documentation and client proposals;
Oversee the issuance, amendments, and cancellations of policies according to procedures;

Who are you?
You hold an AMF commercial insurance certificate or are open to obtaining one. This position is open to a commercial internship if you already have insurance experience.
You must have at least 3 years of experience in personal lines insurance or 1 year of experience in commercial lines insurance.
Functional bilingualism in French and English is required.
You have a reliable home internet connection to ensure your voice can be heard.
You are computer literate and comfortable navigating multiple software programs, all on two monitors.
You are a quick learner and demonstrate strong organizational skills.
