We are seeking a Team Manager for the Claims Adjustment Department. As Senior Director of Claims (Quebec), you will be the strategic and operational cornerstone of our Claims function across the province. You will have a significant impact on our profitability and the quality of the customer experience. Our client is a Canadian MGA with 70 years of experience, located in Montreal.

• A base salary starting at $150,000/year or more, negotiable based on experience.

• 35-hour work week, flexible schedule, Monday to Friday

What you bring:

Building and leading a high-performing claims team, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.

Optimize the management of complex claims by providing strategic advice and ensuring the rigorous application of technical standards.
Drive operational excellence through proactive oversight, strict cost management, and continuous process improvement.
Cultivate strategic partnerships with agencies and key stakeholders to increase customer loyalty and drive business growth.
Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to internal policies through sound governance, regular audits, and rigorous quality controls.
Contribute to the company's strategic vision by acting as an expert advisor and a mobilizing leader for growth initiatives.
Supervise the claims team in managing complex cases and act as a resource person with the National Claims Department.
Represent the organization in cases that extend beyond local jurisdiction: participate in meetings, settlement conferences, trials, and pre-trial hearings.

Participate in the planning, budgeting, and reconciliation of claims operations for the Montreal region.

Who are you?

• Hold your AMF (Autorité des marchés financiers) certificate as a personal and commercial claims adjuster
• Have at least 10 years of experience as a claims adjuster
• Bilingual in French and English
• Minimum 3 years of management experience
• Excellent teamwork skills and a willingness to share knowledge.
