Our client is a Quebec-based insurance company with over 100 years of experience. Currently expanding, they are seeking insurance professionals like you to join their commercial underwriting team at their office in Drummondville.
What we offer:
Permanent position.
A competitive starting salary of $70,000 per year and above, negotiable based on experience.
Work-life balance.
37.5-hour work week. Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., flexible according to business hours.
Benefits paid 50% by the employer (life insurance, prescription drugs, salary, paramedical services, etc.) after 3 months.

What you bring:
Analyze and price risks (new business and renewals).
Make underwriting decisions aligned with our standards and profitability objectives.
Determine appropriate terms, coverages, and limitations.
Handle more complex underwriting requests independently.
Collaborate with the General Manager and the sales and service team to define the business development strategy for the commercial property and casualty insurance sector.
Underwrite risks primarily in the construction, contractor, building site, fleet, and agricultural sectors.
Who are you?
At least 5 years of experience in commercial property and casualty insurance, including underwriting experience.
Strong leadership skills and customer focus.
