We are looking for a commercial property and casualty insurance broker to manage and grow a client portfolio.
Our client is a long-established family business in the property and casualty insurance brokerage sector, serving both individuals and businesses. Currently expanding, they need insurance professionals like you to join their dynamic team located in Beloeil.
What we offer
Permanent position
A competitive base salary starting at $75,000 per year or more, negotiable based on experience
Additional commissions of 25% on your sales and 10% on cross-sales
Annual bonus based on client retention and portfolio growth
Work-life balance
35-hour work week. Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Hybrid remote work position 50% of the time

What you bring
You are known for your negotiation and persuasion skills, able to negotiate with various insurers
You enjoy providing excellent customer service and generating new sales
Develop and grow your client base. No prospecting required.
You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
You are customer-focused and action-oriented.
You have a knack for solutions, support, escalation, and upselling.
Manage a client portfolio under one million.
Process modifications, pricing, customer retention, and solicitation during inbound calls.
Shop for quotes from our various insurers.
Manage service calls for your portfolio and incoming emails from your portfolio's clients.
Handle renewals, modifications, and new business (referrals, incoming calls to the office, and existing clients).
Work with SMEs in various sectors.
Who are you?
You have at least two years of experience in business insurance.
You have a good balance between sales and customer service.
You are computer literate and comfortable navigating multiple software programs, all on two screens.
You learn quickly and are well-organized.
